Ruby Gibbens is a puppet designer and maker based in Cardiff. She has created bespoke puppets for companies nationally and internationally working in Portugal, New Zealand, Ukraine and Norway. She has eight years of experience as a puppet designer/maker and further experience working professionally in the theatre industry.

At The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Ruby Gibbens graduated with an MA Distinction for Design for Performance, specialising in Puppetry. Ruby has since been employed at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama teaching puppet making to the students for their major puppetry project.
