My second trip to Ukraine took me to a rural town in the Carpathian Mountains, working with a youth group there. We spent five days in Ukraine and performed on the fifth. We re-used many of the props, puppets and set pieces from In the Heart of the Woods that was created for Golgol Festival and also some masks and puppets were donated by The Fetch Theatre. I created the giant crane puppet and a girl puppet on sight while the Youth theatre devised the production. The group went on to tour the show to Norway.
